brick is a musical instrument for the whole body. To give children and young adults an easy introduction to making music, brick offers simple operation that allows them to quickly and easily create their own beat sequences.
For more experienced musicians, brick can also be connected to existing equipment via the MIDI standard.

components
brick consists of several elements. The boom touch modules together with the swoosh movement modules form the core of the devices.
The booms can be attached to the whole body using Velcro straps. The straps are available in three different sizes to cover different arrangements and body sizes. The swoosh and boom are connected to the app via the respective technology modules, which snap magnetically onto the boom pads or the swoosh band. After use, these can be stacked and charged with the corresponding charging cable.
structure
Pressure detection in the pads takes place via a velostat fabric. When pressure is applied, this conducts more or less current depending on the strength. Impacts are detected by the electrically conductive layer above and below.
The technology modules are connected to the textile pads via a plastic shell with connectors. They are held in place by the concave and convex shape in combination with magnets.
